Probably forgot to take into account that it was a 98 mph fastball.

    From Twitter:

@jluckhaupt Last time the #Reds came back after losing by 6 runs in the 6th or later was June 30, 2006, what many know as the Adam Dunn grand slam game.
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

What we were down by in the game in Arizona the year we won the division? Edmonds when yard, IIRC. It was a pretty big deficit late.

Thom just said it was a game against the Nats in 2007. Wonder which is right.

What is up with the double switch to put Hanigan in the game to catch?

Dusty's been doing that a lot lately for Chapman.

I turned it off when it was 6-0. Whoops.

I'm sure Chapman probably told Dusty he is more comfortable throwing to Hanigan.

Maybe they are able to communicate better?

Different stats. Reds were down 6-0 to the Nats but it was only in the 2nd.

So our catcher of the future isn't allowed to catch our #1, #2, #3 or our closer? Just keeps getting better.

I'll definitely be dialing this one up on the ol' MLB.TV later.

Effectively a second double switch. Ondrusek and Ludwick came in for a double switch in the eighth. Ondrusek was in the fifth hole. Mesoraco and Ludwick grounded out. Hanigan and Chapman double switched so that Hanigan would bat fifth in the ninth inning should the need arise.

    Easy this one made sense.

    Makes no sense does it?
