And a 101mph at 69. Kind of shoots that stupid rating in the face.

    Goldschimdt K's!

    We're good again!
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

    Wow! Whodathunkit?
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

This is a special win, don't you think? Being down 6-0 and coming back and winning it? Happy to get a split out of this series. Let's bear down and get the Brew crew.

Hands down favorite win of the year.

Wish I could have folowed this game thread. Oh, the highs and lows. I would have been right with you. Good ending though. Back in first place.

Chapman has K'd 23 in last 9.1 innings.
The Sox traded Bullfrog the only player they've got for Shottenhoffen. Four-eyes Shottenhoffen a utility infielder. They've got a whole team of utility infielders.

The decision to have Aroldis close is paying huge dividends right now.

I wonder what the % of batters Chapman has struck out this year when he throws a slider for a strike during the at bat.
