    I'd prefer to keep Stubbs.

Choo would be a poor fielder in CF and doesn't hit lefties well. He would be a great compliment to Stubbs, as Choo murders righties, and his fielding would only be a secondary consideration.

The Reds are still a right handed dominant lineup that can be prone to have major trouble against good right handed pitching. Don't let a win streak against three bad teams try to cover that.
I'm very interested - I only pointed out the deal as presented was -in my opinion - a major overpay. I'd offer Heisey, HRod and Corcino for Choo and sub in Stubbs if they wouldn't take Heisey. I would also be willing to include Bray if they wanted another pitcher - for payroll reasons - and bring up Joseph but only if they took Heisey instead of Stubbs. That way I could play Stubbs and Choo off each other's strengths in a kind of platoon that would lessen the defesive impact of Choo in center and he could get time in left/right when Ryan or Bruce took a day off. Or I'd give Bruce a few extra days off facing his worse type of pitchers.

The team is 20+ over .500 because they're playing great defense and pitching extremely well, and there are people out there who want to weaken the defense AND trade a starting pitcher in the process?

Jay Bruce in center? It's hard enough to keep his bat going without adding to his concerns by putting him in a defensive position he hasn't played in years.

Frankly, Jay Bruce has become one of the weakest offensive links in the lineup. He's not much better than Stubbs or Heisey at this point, other than his HR's. He's becoming Adam Dunn with better defense. Platoon him.
