    dat slider
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

The 91-mph slider is kind of unfair.

Even though Hart was apparently 2-for-3 off Chapman before this at-bat, he looked pretty much lucky to even hit the ball.

Chapman showing some fine control with that last pitch. Let him hit it, two run lead. And the game is over.

I hear they're going to pass a rule to make Chapman pitch from level ground behind the pitcher's mound.

    Sick.

I'd love to see him develop an 85 MPH change-up. Hitters would have no chance.
