I let Homer start the 8th, but I would keep him on a short leash.

What a batch of jokers, man. Still can't believe they've done this well this year.

Maldonado singles to right. Bruce just missed a sliding catch.

Yeah, but a tough play, most RFers don't get that.

    Catchable but tough.

I think it fooled him bit - looked like he thought maybe it was going farther than it did - agree - tough play

    10 K's for Homer

"If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

I'm at the point now where I couldn't care less when they take Homer out or not....he just gets stronger as he goes. He's looked flat out fantastic tonight.
Chapman to the rotation!!!! Do it already!!!!

Should have caught that one - he got his glove on it. 2 really tough but catchable balls this inning

I don't know that he "should have" caught that one. It was hit hard to the wall.
