It bothers me greatly and I know I need help....and what I said that can be seen as negative....everyone knows is true or will be surprised if it isn't.

I don't like reading the threads while on vacation and having so many just give up during the game. This site has people on here folding up in 3-1 games in the 7th. Baseball is 27 outs....ask the Nationals.....and the Reds a few years back. I don't like being lumped in with those guys, especially when I have contributed a good bit of stats for so many of mine and everyone elses arguments.
    Well said.

I am with you... But Marshall could have made more of a step there.

1st base ump has by far, the best view of that, and he never called it.

A rare effective effort by Marshall. Who pitches the 8th? Marshall to the lefty and then Ondrusek to all the righties, I suppose. Nice if we could ever score.

Marshall has 20 appearances where he has not given up a hit and 18 where he has not given up a hit or a walk... How is it "rare" for him to be effective?

Also, not sure I understand the "nice if we could ever score" comment. Are you referring to this game?

Unrelated comment... Historically, I guess it's good for the Reds that the Pirates are good again... For some reason our franchises are linked. Last Reds series win had us beat the Pirates to get to the series... Last Pirates series win had them beat the Reds to get to the series.
