Wow. Heck of a debut for Todd Redmond with the Bats.

    7 innings of shut out ball. 5 hits, 1 bb, 8 k's. That'll work.

    Weeks grounds out to third.

4-2 Reds to the bottom of 6.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

I know Rolen is at the end, but man is he smooth at 3B.

Nope, 4-2. Brewers scored on the double play last inning.

Ack, sorry, missed that that plated a run. My bad.

Even better on Zach then for that play.

Ludwick grounds out to first, Rolen out in a rundown. Ludwick to second. 2 outs.

Just some crummy luck there by Ludwick. He goes the opposite way of the shift, hits it sharply...right at the one fielder on that side. *sigh*

Not tonight he didn't. Someone in another game did it on consecutive pitches.

Now for the season, he's won it hands down. A dinger on a tossed bat. :O)

We need to make sure we get Rolen regular rest after Votto comes back, because the current Rolen is quite useful. Keep him healthy.
