It'd be nice if Jay could extend the GABP HR streak here.

When Jay Bruce had the RBI single last night, I liked what Marty and Cowboy had to say about how much more effective Jay is when he just lays back off of trying to swing for the fences every time up. I'd be completely satisfied to see Jay just get a base hit right here.

Bruce fielder choice grounder, BP out at 2nd.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Not disagreeing. But as long as we keep winning, I couldn't care less what the other teams are doing. Just take care of business boys and everything'll be fine.

Jay Bruce sometimes is just bone-headed. Lapses in judgment a lot anymore. Goodness.
