Putting up Paul in this situation proves that the bench is weak.

Are we sure that wasn't Costanzo disguised as someone named "Xavier Paul"? (Same type of AB.)

I'm a big believer in lefty/righty matchups but they do require a certain level of proficiency.

Reds had better options there than Xavier Paul. Very disappointing at bat.

    Maybe Heisey will come through.

To be fair to Paul he has looked better than Constanzo though. Small sample though.

Damn. Grounder to short to end the inning. 2-1 Reds.

Heisey grounds out to third. Leadoff double for nought.

    2-1 Reds after 7.

That's an amazing statement."

Pirates up 3-0 over Marlins. Bucs are tough at home.

I thought Barry's speech was fine. Some good funny moments. But just so very wrong at the same time. Please tell me I was hearing voices in my head...but didn't Barry actually THANK the Cubs fans?
