Game and a half up on Pittsburgh, six on the Cards, and 11 on the Brewers. Successful night.

All of those trips sound infinitely more interesting, and shorter, than this game.

    Latos gets the win.

Seems like he pitched 3 hours ago. Oh wait, he did.

Homer Bailey is going to give us another 8 innings of masterful pitching in the third game and Leake will be solid tomorrow night. Get out the brooms.

Good news, maybe Votto's knee was able to completely heal during the course of this titanic struggle.

    He also wrote a novel.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

A-Rod with an HR and Ichiro wearing a Yankees jersey. Good times in Mariner-land.

This. I'd have no problem at this point with either Ludwick or Frazier hitting cleanup.

You haven't watched much of the Astros lately then.

I also agree with several other people from last night. The Astros are going to get pummelled in the AL....but only for a few years I'd think. The strides their farm is making is kinda remarkable. If they keep their focus there, they're gonna be good in a few years (I'm thinking like 5 or so).

Yeah, I don't get the Marshall hate either. Dude is solid. He's gotten some crappy luck this season, but his stuff is just nasty.
