    Cozart's stats for the year:

    Batting 1st: .217 BA, OPS .619
    Batting 2nd: .357 BA, OPS .987

So of course he is leading off again.

Phillips flies out to center. 121 pitches for Harrel. 2-1 Astros mid 7th.

That's what I don't get at all. He had his best game in seemingly weeks when moved back to 2nd, so after that he gets moved back to leadoff.

This is the offense everyone expected to see with Votto out.

If this were AstrosZone we'd be calling for Brad Mills head.

This is really a shame to struggle like this against Houston, but they do have a 24-22 record at home.

That's not what I call "improvement".
Dusty moved him to leadoff and kinda called him out on July 16th (the beginning of the Diamondback series). Since then he's gone 10 for 30 with 4 walks and 4 k's. He's worked the count better, fouled off pitches better, and just looked better at the dish overall. Just coincidence....could be, but he seems better IMO.

Maxwell reaches as Rolen can't field the ball down the line. Error on Rolen

Maxwell grounds to 3rd, Rolen fumbles it. E-5.

Train wreck. Let's hold them and get some runs. Goodness!

When a guy gets hot in the two hole, Dusty thinks he's found his lead off hitter.

So that two hole guy, he gets moved to lead off to give the Reds the OBP lead off man they have needed.

Except that when he moves to lead off, he stops hitting.

Solution: Cross out the number one on the lineup card. Substitute 2A and 2B.
Then hit Stubbs and Cozart in any order Dusty wants.

I think you and I have different definitions of 'train wreck'. That game against the Tigers on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball was a train wreck. This is like a 5 minute train delay.

Teams do tend to lose once in a while, even against lesser opponents once in a while.

Hard to sweep on the road.

Reds still have a chance tonight if Leake can get out of this. But then, I said the same thing last inning.
