Would have let Paul do what he wanted there, he's had a good night.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Two on, no out. Pitcher having trouble. Bunt? One out. Frazier up and strikes out. Two out. What brilliance. Now you get the rookie, but no. It's Heisey.

I'd love to play poker one night against Baker. He's the type of guy who shoves all in with AK and expects to win every time.
Sabermetrics is this: A batter's goal is to extend the inning. Extend enough innings and you're going to score runs. Extend more innings than your opponent and you're going to score more runs than him.

Forget the rain. It's never an official game until the Reds piss away a run between third base and home plate. - Bluegrass Redleg

Broken bat pop out to short. Big missed opportunity there. 2-1 Astros mid 8th.

Sorry Mes. It was actually Chris Heisey.

You're not going to get more starts when management would rather PH for you with a .701 OPS guy in a clutch situation.
