Gonzalez strikes out swinging. 6 Ks for Leake.

Slow on my end, too. I don't know if it's due to high traffic or what it is...

Though it doesn't appear as if the Reds will be able to win this (certainly not over, but only one crack left), Mike Leake certainly has done his part keeping them in striking distance.

Ground out to 1st. 2-1 Astros after 8.

Really good start by Leake. He deserves a win tonight.

Great performance for sure. ERA down to 4.12.

Big question for this game is what Paul would have done if he had been allowed to swing away.

Bunt with first and second is a tough play, force at any base, bunt has to be pretty good to succeed.

    Ludwick up.

And at least he doesn't deserve a loss.

    Wouldn't be the first time.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."
