Yes he was. Most times when he was "effective", it was because the defense saved his butt.

He's a really really nice guy though.

Welsh trying to make us all feel bad for not liking Cordero as our closer.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Funny to hear Welsh and Kelch pile on Cordero saying things they would never say when he wore Red.

That's the best you got? LOL.

These pitchers who are afraid of walks always blow games. Coco fell behind 2-0. Why throw Stubbs a strike? Stubbs will swing at anything. You walk him, you walk him. World doesn't end.

I've seen it so often this year. Latos was doing it early in the season.

Don't give in to the hitter. 2-0, big deal. Make him hit your pitch.

Coco grooved it and Stubbs belted it. Nice.

    CoCo was a good reliever/closer who I had no problem with salary/performance wise...until 2010.

    I called that homer
I believe you. Happened to me several times. I didn't call this one but against Coco I'm wondering why I didn't.

    Yay for Stubbs.
