Tony Cingrani struck out the side on 19 pitches in the first. Two batters battled well with some foul balls, but he faced the minimum. Billy Hamilton walked but was picked off to lead off the bottom of the frame.

Didi Gregorius is 2-2 with the aforementioned solo home run. Up to .300 with Louisville.

Cingrani struck out the first 5, but got a liner or hard grounder to 3B to end the 2nd. Vidal dove and either caught it or threw the guy out at first. He stood up like he caught it, then hesitated, then threw to first. Not sure what the call was, but it was out either way.

Nah, he just wanted to give them one chance. Too bad they hit it to Vidal, dude makes a highlight type of play just about every time I watch him.

    9 up, 9 down for Cingrani through 3. 6 Ks. He's thrown 43 pitches, 27 for strikes.

How good would Cingrani be if he had two pitches?

He has three. If they were anywhere near consistent, it would be incredible. Slider tonight is like most nights.... a few have been nice, a few have been ok and a few have been outright bad.

Cingrani lost the no hitter in the 4th on a diving try by Josh Fellhauer who came up 2 inches short of the catch. Next pitch went to dead center for a 2 run HR. The next pitch was caught by Lutz up against the wall to end the inning.

    Cingrani sucks.

But seriously. Probably a loss of concentration after the no hitter was gone.
