Redszone never doubted ya, boys!
Can we get Altuve for the Cairo spot?
All wins feel huge, but to win these last two the way they have.... wow. Just wow. What an amazing season this has been.
Homer gets screwed by Logan...
Great outing Homey..
You just know the Pirates are screaming "What do we have to do?!?!?"
Sabermetrics is this: A batter's goal is to extend the inning. Extend enough innings and you're going to score runs. Extend more innings than your opponent and you're going to score more runs than him.
Forget the rain. It's never an official game until the Reds piss away a run between third base and home plate. - Bluegrass Redleg
What a game! Had it all, great pitching from both teams and two late inning rallies from both teams with the much maligned Stubbs being the hero two nights in a row. Can't get any better than this!
18 over. This team is good. Seems like everything is going our way
"Losing feels worse than winning feels good." -Vin Scully
Personally, Ondrusek is the guy inthe bullpen the Reds don't need. Pare the pen down from seven to six and the remaining guys would stay fresher considering how deep the rotation is going on an almost nightly basis. If they start getting taxed, give a call to L'Ville for Hoover. I'm hoping Ondrusek is in a deal this week.
Cards and Dodgers still playing. 2-2 in the 11th.
"And This One Belongs To The Reds."
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."
The Reds have won 7 games in a row and are still only 2.5 up on the Bucs and 6 up on the Cards. This division is brutal.
