    Ludwick grounds out to short.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Here's Bruce's line against lefties: .232/.292/.384/.676, but he had a couple hits against lefties in the Houston series.

Rolen has really been smoking the ball tonight. Hard line out to right. He's just really squaring it up nicely.

Interesting. That's below his career stats, right?

    Simon still in.

I just went and checked. Since the All-Star game, Rolen is 16 for 40. I'm glad to see it and happy for him.

Scutaro...doubles? Ugly play by Ludwick, conditions played a big part.

Scutaro to third on a wild pitch.

Ugh. I don't want to see Ludwick hurt.

Sloppy defense this inning. Rain and wind has to be playing a major part in that.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.
