Stephenson started throwing the changeup a little more. It looks good when mixed in with a plus fastball.

If you can't tell, I'm impressed.
This will not change until the Reds win the World Series.......

Steph gives up his first run in Dayton on a error. So it doesn't count in the ERA column

Could use some more fastball command, but yeah, he has been pretty darn impressive.

On a non-Stephenson related note, Junior Arias looks completely overmatched right now.

Right now? Try all season. He is in over his head right now, I'm surprised that he is still with the team to tell you the truth

Pensacola scored two in the bottom of the second on double by Josh Feldhauer, a double by David Vidal and a single by pitcher JC Sulbaran. Sulbaran has given up a run on three hits with 3 BB's and 5 K's. 2-0 Wahoos after four.

Hoos come back in the fifth with a run on a triple by Billy, who scored when the SS dropped the relay throw from the OF (think he was rushing much?).

Sulbaran with another walk and another K in the to of the fifth, but no runs. 3-1 Hoos after five.

Bats tied with Buffalo at 1-1 with L'Ville batting in the bottom of the 5th. The Bats run scored when Soto reached on an erro, moved to second on a walk and scored on a throwing error by the pitcher. Tim Gustafson started. Has given up a run on three hits with a walk and 4 K's. Singles by Denis Phipps and Chris Valaika are the only hits so far for L'Ville

Billings batting in the bottom of the 3rd with no score against Helena. Ismail Guillon with the start. Has given up three hits and K'd two through three. ERA down to 2.81. Jesse Winker with a BB (shock!) as the only base runner for the Mustangs.

The Hoos add another run in that 5th inning on a walk by Donald Lutz and a double by Beau Mills. Huntsville scored one of their own in the top of the 6th. Now 4-2 Pensacola.

Jesse Winker just put the Stangs up 1-0 on his first professional HR. Billings leads after four.

The Blue Hoos get the run back in the bottom of the sixth on a single by Tucker Barnhart, a walk by Hamilton and a 2-out single by Ryan LaMarre, 5-2 Hoos after six. Drew Hayes replaced JC on the mound.

In Arizona, the Reds Runts are score less after 1.5 against the Diminutive Dodgers. Adam Matthews led off the game with a single - only Reds hit so far. Nick Masset on rehab assignment, gets the start. K's the side in the 1st around an error by 1B Jhimmy Lopez.
