No, not really. That's the way relievers are. Good one day, washed up the next. No need to be overly sentimental about "the good old times".
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

I'm not being sentimental about it. I'm just not willing to give up on a guy so quick after he's been so productive in the past. Bad weeks, months, and even years happen in baseball. All the time. I'm not happy with his production, but the freaking out is a little overboard considering we're nearly 20 games over .500.

Well every pitcher that's taken the mound tonight looks washed up.

he is averaging 1 walk every 3 batters, considering he faces mostly lefties, and he's a lefty...thats not very good.
Not this year...maybe a Wild Card

Logan with the best curve I've seen out of him in quite some time.

Good job by Logan to get out of the inning. 8-7 Reds after 7.

Look I totally agree. He's been really bad. And maybe he could use some time in AAA, no doubt. But I can also understand why he would have a little longer rope than most.
