Wow. That leaves either Victorino or Pierre for the Reds

Good - that's one rumor we can quit worrying about. I wondered how they were going to fit him in and why they'd want him with Ludwick looking superior to me in almost every way.

Kind of a definitive thread title for what is still technically a rumor.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Giants are denying this at the moment, btw.

Pence is a slasher, he'll hit well in the NL west as a doubles and triples machine. I think this is one of the best fits so far, if it happens. The Reds are much better off with Ludwick who gets the ball high in the air.

It looks like Jon Heyman is reporting there is no deal in place:

Don't beat yourself up. I would venture to guess you're the better writer.
