    I'm surprised they didn't give Paul a chance in the leadoff position for awhile before the trading deadline was upon them.

    Being a lefty. Good OBP in the minors. Seems like he has a good eye at the plate.

    Yep. Best possible outcome for the streak likely ending is that we don't lose any games in the division lead. I think the Cards gain, what, 1/2 game? That still puts them back, like, 7.
