    All hail Walt for going out and getting Ludwick.

    His signing was really an afterthought here on Redszone... but to date his addittion has probably produced more than Latos, Marshall, and certainly Madsen... and i liked all three of those moves as well.

    I think there's a 5 mil option for next year, I'd pick that up and see how he's doing around this time next year.

    Definitely. It would save having to try to fill that hole next year. He's found his stroke, loves hitting in GABP, and loves the team chemistry.

    Id give him like a 2 year 8 mil deal or something.

    If he keeps hitting like this, I don't think 8 mill will get it done. It will probably take at least 12 mill for 2 years and incude a no trade clause.

    The more I think about it... at his age he is gonna want 4 years at a minimum. Probably a 4 year, 22 million contract.
