For the most part, it seems like Marshall has been really good this year.

I thought it was strange that Phillips came out. But I thought that it was strange that Mesoraco came out in the seventh inning, too.

    Hanigan fouls out to third
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

He's not 100%...give him some innings off.. you will have to drag him out of the starting line up. Say what you want about Brandon, but he plays hurt...no questions asked.

Not only to the Cubs not have a run against the Bucs, they don't have a hit after 6 innings.

I can buy that. But what was the story on Mesoraco? The seventh innnig is awfully early to take out your catcher, especially when you're only carrying two and it wasn't part of a double switch.

And Paul Xavier with another pinch hit.
