I hope it's just a hiccup, and if so, I hope it's just limited to Leake and Bailey, but there were some chinks in the armor from our starters these last two days.

Man, Frazier is just the coolest guy.

Tonight, the same suspects contributed to the win on offense:

    Hitters 1-3 - 3-13
    Hitters 4-6 - 4-9
    Hitters 7-9 - 2-12

OK, of the 17 runs scored by San Diego in the first two games I've seen a total of 14 on TV. I turned the TV off after the 6th run was scored. They didn't score a run after that. I'm banning myself from watching the next two games.

great job by the bullpen tonight.
5 1/3rd scoreless innings and only allowed 2 base runners.

It was bound to happen, especially from the back of the rotation
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

I consider the first two games to be flukes. One of the weaker offenses in the league, Petco or not, vs. one of the best pitching staffs in the league and the results flip flop for a couple of games. What an unpredictable, random game MLB is on a day to day basis. It is certainly not a betting man's game (sorry Pete).
