    Rolen singles up the middle
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

    Rolen gets a hit
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

Did Thom just say that Ryan Ludwick is hot?

Seriously now, is there a better story for the Reds this year than Ryan Ludwick? The guy has certainly found his stroke after a few years absence.

A comment on Valdez. He has played really well IMO. His numbers are a very small sample and do not give him justice.

This game, he made a "productive out" in the first and got a hit here in the third.

He made a bad baserunning play, no doubt. Should have been a dead duck at third.

However, I thought he slid in safely.

    Go Reds.

Crazy as it sounds .. it might be the best move Walt made in the past offseason.. who would've thought that at the time?

Mez bounces one up the middle, the Pads DO finally get to one and throw him out.

6-0 Reds after 3. Walt to join the booth.

Ludwick's hot streak has been perfect timing. He's hitting when they need him to hit the absolute most. Now let's hope he continues when Votto returns. Having them all clicking would be enormous.

Yea, I agree. Overall, I am pleased with Valdez and I'm happy he's on the team. It was just a bit funny.. He would've been thrown out at 2b on the hit and run but caught a break.. That's why I was joking about how he was determined to get out.

Valdez has pretty much been the perfect backup middle infielder (and did great filling in at CF when the Reds needed him to)

I'm not watching, so if you'd be so kind, please update if Walt says anything of interest. I'll let you filter what you deem to be interesting lol

I certainly would agree to his nomination.
