And get ignored by the media just like the Reds. If he were in St Louis again he'd be on Sportscenter every night. And MLB-TV.

I know the book on Arroyo is to bat lefties against him, but it's like the Padres have seventeen of them.

    Cabrera grounds out to 2nd
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

At any rate, the run would've scored anyway, so it ends up being a moot point.
I will concede it isn't that clear cut. I watched frame by frame in hi def and I see it hit him on the leg right above his ankle on his pants then it skips under and takes the wicked hop off the wall. Its all pretty moot as the result of the play probably would have been the same.

Indians did that too, IIRC, and it worked out pretty well.

Just avoided trouble there on a ball hit JUST foul down the left field line. Then Bronson Ks the batter Guzman.

It wasn't a great hop to be sure...but he was still pretty casual about it. Bad play.

Lots of mistakes tonight and some luck. Good omen? Hitting the pitcher, walking the first man and the Wells hit hurt. Hope this doesnt.

He was WELL outside the box on THAT play. Great throw, but easily could've been called a balk. Now THAT'S a call that is rarely made.
