If they keep it in the zone it should be second in the baseball to whoever the Cardinals decided to use there with their amazing luck.

Dibble and Myers were known to have a few control problems back in 90. Which is what intimidated alot of hitters back then. I dont mind a few dirt balls, as long as the inning goes scoreless

Yeah, it's a lot of different stuff to deal with... A crazy loogy, a 300lb power righty, and then a nasty flamethrowing randy Johnson-esque lefty...

I think that in a year or two, one of these guys - Frazier, Dorn, Valaika, Cumberland, Stubbs - will be ready to replace Dunn. They won't hit as many home runs as Dunn, but they should have similar OPS. - 757690, July 22, 2008

Alonso will be playing 1B for the REDS and batting 4th one year from today. - Kingspoint, July 9, 2009

Marshall is not really a loogy. To my knowledge a loogy is a left-handed relief pitcher that is brought on specifically to get out a left-handed batter.

A left-handed specialist is sometimes called a LOOGY (or Lefty One-Out GuY), a term which can be used pejoratively. (coined by John Sickels)

    LOOGy

Marshall is not really a Loogy. Bray is but has had his health problems this year.
