Vi Ripken, Cal Ripken Jr's 74 year olod mother was kidnapped last night at gunpoint from her home, forced into a car and taken to an unknown site. Se was released unharmed this morning. Baltimore police are handling the case. What the hell is happening in the world today? Thank God she is okay!

Kidnapping rich/famous ppl isn't anything new.
Kidnapping for money is nearly extinct. The full wrath of the FBI comes down hard on the kidnappers.
I thought for sure she'd go for the consecutive days kidnapped record.
But seriously, glad she was released and is okay. Either the world has gotten whackier or we just are privy to too much immediate info anymore with all the TV channels and internet.
I thought maybe she was living in South America. I'm glad she's OK.
