    103 mph gets face-time.

I would say that Chapman would be on the cover.

Here's one SI photo of Chapman:

I think either bullpen gets the love, or maybe the young guys get a look (meso, frazier, cozart)

Yeah I believe it would have to be Chapman. With a pic of Votto and Phillips watching from the bench.

As referenced in another thread, a sub-title could be "Nasty Redux".

My first guess would be Chapman, he fits the profile of what SI wants to talk about.

Is it too farfetched to guess that Dusty might be on the cover? His team is the best in baseball and after a long career he's still searching for that WS ring, and it just might be in his grasp...That's magazine article material imo

He's my very, very close second choice, and deservedly so, despite my "they're winning in spite of Dusty" posts.

Unless the Reds manage to compete in the Olympics over the next 3day days, I don't see them on the SI cover next week. If they somehow are, I see aa shot of Chapman, or a pic that has several of their stars in the same shot, possibly a home plate celebration, with some sort of Big Red Machine play on words/comparison.
(Referring to Jack Hannahan signing with a Korean team)
Since there are no teams on the moon, I guess South Korea's far enough from Cincinnati to satisfy me.

It would be Dusty flipping the bird with a huge smile on his face. The cover article would then go into detail about his contract extension.

PS. He is managing much better this year, I admit it. :o)
