NY papers were quoting scouts saying that it was amazing that Cashman got anything for him.

It may be coming in at 96, but there's a lot behind it. Is that what you're getting at?

Ludwick struck out last two times on terrible pitches.

McGehee for Qualls, though. I laughed with glee when I saw that. I liked McGehee and thought he was one of those players who was more than the sum of his stats. Liked that trade. Not a huge difference but a little step backward imo.

I thought he was safe until that last replay also. Ump got it right.

Coulda let Broxton start it and had Chappy ready if he got into trouble.
    Chapman must come in here.

They don't want to overuse Chapman-that's why they made the trade.

I'd really rather have Broxton pitch and go with Chapman if he had to. Rest Chappy for tomorrow and Sunday but too late now.

    100 at the knees...called a ball
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Unreal. Call it a strike because it is a strike for goodness sake.

Sorry, I just think you need to use your number one closer in this situation. If Reds win this game, then you can mess around another day.

I understand the disagreement, just my view.

Yep - I see your point too.
