Neil Walker reminds me of Billy Doran. Solid hitting second baseman. Doran was a switch hitter, this guy's a lefty. Just seems similar.

Walker grounds out up the middle, another play Cozart makes look easy

3-0 Reds to the bottom of 7.

I definitely let him go another inning. Ideally, he pitches the 8th, and they score a few runs and turn it over to Simon or Ondrusek. But if not, then Chapman can close it out.

Brutus, I usually agree with your very fine posts.

They are NOT entrusting this game to Simon or Ondrusek. Even if it is 10-0.

    Not happening.

    Broxton, maybe.

If he has a quick 8th, I could see Dusty letting him start the 9th.

Anyone else get the feeling that Latos may be one of those who likes pressure and kicks it up a notch in big games?

Seeing him in the dugout with his head down and looking depressed, I thought he was done a couple of games ago. Like any pro, he showing tonight that he may have something left in the tank.

Well, I hope we'll get to find out lol

I honestly don't see Dusty using his big guns in a 5-run lead in the 9th, but as I said, hopefully we'll get to find out.
