So frustrating to see Stubbs just stand there
So frustrating to see Stubbs just stand there
Look back in the 1998-99 period: Jim Bowden. He wanted the short fences so Austin Kearns(and Adam Dunn) could have a field day and put up gawdy power numbers and a big reason why he pounced on Griffey. The idea was the Reds would score 850-950 runs a game and would need average pitching that wouldn't be costly to get along with crummy defense. Lets note outside 2004-5 and 2007, the Reds offense disappointed in this regard and never did hit the target one year in any year.
This will be a telling inning.
Alright Leake how about a scoreless inning here
And not a good start.
Alright Leake how about a scoreless inning here, as soon as I finish typing another lead off hit
Tough it out Mike.
He's wearing the middle of the plate with a lot of pitches considering how big a strike zone this guy has.
We're not exactly stinging the ball tonight...3 or is it 4 infield hits...only Rolen's 1st inning single and Luddy's double off the wall have been hard hit.
The ump dosent have very consistent zone tonight
Pirates dont hit for average well but have alot of power
BIG DP
