We may need to rethink possibly signing Rolen next season. He looks completely healthy and has been clutch since the AS Break. He's really dealin'.

You know, they were motivated, but in the wrong way. They wanted to kill, not win. McCutcheon fired them up for no reason and the presses all night. Another symptom of never having been there.

If the Pirates watched Chapman pitch more often, they'd know he didn't hit McCutcheon on purpose last night. He just loses control every so often (thankfully, a whole lot less than he used to).

exactly...kind of like us in 2010 against the Cards and Phily, in the regular season and post season.

What a story it would be if he came back for a strong year. But I just can't count on it being here. Let's just send him off a World Champion perhaps?

Didn't think Rolen had this level of play left in him. Makes it extra sweet!

Jeez, the Reds win a big game and people are getting snippy about a joke.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."
