I imagine we'll see Broxton in the 8th.

How many teams in MLB would drop their current closer to replace them with Marshall or Broxton?

Our last 3 guys are impressive.

I'm guessing Marshall goes a second inning if the Reds don't get any runs this inning.

How would that determine if Marshall pitches the top of the 8th?

Just seems odd to me. Granted, I've not pulled numbers but isn't it Broxton's job to get rightys out late in the game?
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

    Cairo singles to right
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Just when it appears Cairo's done enough to play himself off the roster, he's sitting up from the grave.

If we're leading, Dusty will go with his "closers."

Just to be clear, I'd still remove Cairo off the roster once Votto returns. But in the eyes of management, maybe he's making it tougher for them.
