But if someone got on, which they didn't, the lefty Jones was next. The double switch gives Dusty options about leaving Marshall in longer.

Cozart pops up to 2nd after 2 failed bunt attempts
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Cairo swipes 2nd. Who needs a bunt?

By that theory you prefer LHP Marshall pitching to RH Cutch with the game on the line. If that's what you want, why even trade for Broxton?
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

My original comment was "I'm guessing if the Reds don't score here Marshall will go a second inning."

If they don't score in the 7th, then Marshall would pitch the top of the 8th. WV's reply was "depends on whether the Reds score in the 8th." The 8th inning has nothing to do with it. It's whether they score here in the 7th.

I know I'm talking abut his first 2 attempts - making him try to bunt when he is terrible at it is just hardheaded stupidity on Dusty's part. He keeps trying to fit a square peg in a round hole in Cozart's case. Then when he gives him the swing away he is down 2 strikes.
