Grandpa! What a play at 2nd!

4-4 to the bottom of 8.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

For those who haven't guessed, Cairo just made a ridiculous play in the hole.

Alvarez pushes Frazier to the ground after the fine Cairo play . Man the Buccos are playing for "blood and Backer" as Dad used to say.

The legs may be the first, but the pride is the last to go.

Miguel Cairo is giving the Reds everything he has left in his old body...that is called leaving it on the field!

I keep watching the replay. Todd was somewhat impeding Alvarez...but Pedro seemingly goes out of his way to make contact.
