It's part of the game, nobody is hurt, McCutchen is still playing, Harrison isn't hurt, Leake couldn't break a pane of glass.

If they want to avoid warnings and ejections they should just stop acting out every time somebody gets hit with a pitch.
It was an overreaction warning the benches and an even bigger one throwing CH out. The Pirates have done nothing here except gripe about getting plunked. The ump is warning the teams to let cooler heads prevail and then he blows up. Entire situation was needless.

1-2-3 inning for Big Mac. Pretty impotent 7-9 hitters

You had to warn the benches after what Harrison and Leake were doing. Harrison left the ump no choice. The ump isn't stupid, he knows what happened last night. I really doubt any warnings are issued if Harrison doesn't act like a fool.

Raisor thinks that Leake's pitch was intentional.

    Leake is playing mindgames.

Yeah, but what's the ump supposed to say: "You get one shot, just don't hurt anybody ..."?

Presley triples. Once again, Thom is made to look like an idiot with his call.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

They get plunked twice, but if they hit a Red they pay the price. Ok. You're fine w that if the roles are reversed?

    Geez Thom is terrible.

Brantley and Marty questioning whether the Reds hitters read the scouting report on McDonald. Saying since the AS Break, McDonald is averaging a walk an inning and having control problems, and they continue to swing and K on terrible pitches.

Hurdle had every right to be mad, but at the same time after what happened with Harrison and Leake I feel like you had to warn the benches.

    I can see both sides.
