Homer has had a good year. I think this is a terrible outing, but I'm not willing to deny his improvement over the season.

I guess he will next pitch in Chicago and we'll see how he does there.

Disagree 100%. It wasn't a matter of judgement. He threw what Hanny called. He's just missing spots today. And he missed that one right in Marte's wheelhouse, thigh high outside.

I don't know if he is or not, but the stats say he is, small sample size notwithstanding.

Walker is just locked in. Jesus.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Get Homer out of there. He's had enough, just bring in a pitcher.

    Here comes Mack Jenkins.

Bucs go home for an 11 game homestand. They are tough at home. But they play four with Arizona and four with the Dodgers. Also play three with Padres.

Hopefully the Bucs will not catch fire at home. Hopefully the good competition will hold its own against the Pirates.

Reds now play below .500 teams, but on the road, as we know.

And the hits keep on coming. Nine hits in 4.1 innings. 87 pitches. I really didn't expect to beat Burnette today, but Homer's mental lapses or whatever it is, is really frustrating.
