    Lucas Duda

I wonder if the Reds could get this guy in the offseason? The Mets have seen enough of his shoddy defense in right field and have demoted him to Buffalo. But he still posesses tremendous power potential, and aside from this year he has shown an ability to get on base at a good clip for a power hitter. He can play first base when Joey needs an off day or is hurt, and can sub for Bruce. The Mets will probably try to trade him to the AL this winter unless an NL club gets proactive. This guy has 30 hr power. I think New York might be eager to deal him, and he would be an excellent acquisition this winter.

I've been vocal about it for a while. I think the guy could mash in GABP. More than the defense I think the Mets were frustrated with Duda's slump even though his numbers overall were still good. Guess they can't handle streakiness in Queens like in the Queen City.

Power isn't cheap. Where would he play?

If he comes cheap, I'd be interested.

No, thanks. Although I think playing at GABP would help his numbers, I wouldn't want him doing anything other than pinch hitting because "shoddy" doesn't even begin to describe his defense.

Maybe they can use him as a DH. (cue dark, foreboding music.)

Especially men who's only glove that fits well enough to not be a total albatross defensively is a first baseman's mitt. His .321 wOBA isn't inspiring confidence of that being a very good flier.
