Scroll down to the Jim Tracy ejection. His attempt to cleanly translate what Tracy is saying is awesome.

I love how Vin reads Tracy's lips and predicts he's going to get kicked out for what he just said, and bam, the ump throws Tracy out.

    That's blinkin' awesome.

When I click on it, I only hear the Rockies feed
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

I have a feeling MLB preferred the one without the lip reading, so they switched feeds for that clip. This link should have the Scully feed.

Will there be penalties for the Umpires who got the call wrong?

Or did they make the game so beautiful there they are getting a raise?

    Why would there be penalties?

The best part of the whole thing is Scully pointing out the ridiculousness of the "more replay would slow down the game" argument. Whenever I see a manager out there taking 5 minutes to argue something that could be definitely decided in 30 seconds by a guy in the booth, I can't help but facepalm.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Try clicking the LAD recap at the top, I think that might work as well.

Did Tracy offer to take the umpire to Fuddruckers?

Vin is great (of course), but he was having a real problem seeing that ball hit the ground. They ran that replay many times and Vin was still saying it was a catch. The 1st replay made it obvious to me that it hit the ground.

I do not blame the umpires for not seeing it in real time (as the great one pointed out). How can they reverse it after discusssing it for over a minute? Either one of them saw it (and it is reversed quickly) or none of them saw it (you quickly wrap up the discussion and move on). Jim Tracy had every right to use that language to that group of blue. Despite getting the call correct in the end... it made no sense how they could overturn it after a looooooonnnnnggggg discussion. Perhaps they saw a replay on the OF scoreboard while taking that long.

With 100% accuracy I can't say it was a trap. There's a chance the glove was under the ball. Even on slow mo replay. Guessing someone agrees with me?
