    Fiers K's

    3-1 Brewers after 7.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

I blame Narron for that. And Bob Boone, in part, as well.

Didn't Fiers give us fits the last time we faced him?

Ah, the Revenge of Jerry Narron.

All that good fortune and lucky bounces are now evening out. Can't say that I didn't think this was going to eventually happen.

I am not watching the game. Why did the Reds pitch to Segura with Fiers on deck?

And he had looked terrible at the plate last two nights. Two pitch outs thinking the Brewers were squeezing boxed the Reds into the corner.

X-Man singles to right. He's looked good at the plate tonight.

Yup, kind of just outsmarted ourselves there. That's what the Reds get for thinking Jerry Narron has a plan or thought in his head.

IMO, After they were behind in the count 2-0 they should have walked him. You might as well try to K the pitcher and then get Aoki (who is 0-3 tonight with 2 Ks) at that point.
