    DeJesus leadoff double
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Leake does not look sharp so far. It's very early, so let's hope he gets into a groove.

I know it's not the right "play" but Brandon had him dead at 3rd base...

    2-1 Reds.

Rizzo with an infield hit off of Leake's glove to score the run.

Last week Leake snags that and DeJesus is toast at the plate.

We desperately need a good start from Leake tonight. Our rotation has been poo-poo the last week or so, outside of Cueto and Latos.

If we were playing the Pirates or Cards this weekend instead of the Cubs I wonder if Votto would be playing? Especially after a 4 game losing streak.

Castro played that like it was a live hand grenade.

I'd like to think yes but I think that's just the fan part of me being impatient. This team seems pretty conservative bringing guys back from injury.
