Cairo seems like a nice guy. Maybe the Reds can make him a coach and get someone for the bench that can contribute a little bit.

Mes is really disappointing me. I thought was quite a hitter, but he looks lost, too.

Runner at second with no outs wasted. That's a bummer.

He only plays a few times a week, however. And has to worry about calling a game, catching his pitchers, opposing baserunners, and he's coming off a one week stretch where he didn't play at all and is recovering from a concussion. I thought he'd be more productive this year, but in the long run, I'm not that concerned with him.

If cairo had gotten the bunt down...mezz's fly ball scores frazier.

He's far and away The Reds' best TV guy, IMO. He really does well bringing some stats into the discussion and in a way that more casual fans can also appreciate.

I don't mind the bunt as much as some here...but for me, you only do it if you have players who are ABLE to do it. And I haven't seen evidence of that from this year's club. Let 'em swing.

Might prove to bite them again. Scant two run lead and only 6 hits against a guy with a 7+ ERA. Quality start for Volsty. Bats are nearly silent.

Exactly. They're just gift-wrapping outs for the opposing pitcher at this point.

I like him with Kelch. Kelch is really growing on me. It's nice not having to listen to someone yelling at me and belaboring point after point.
