Bruce with three Ks and 4 LOBs tonight.

Maybe Bruce should sit out in all road games.

Shawn 'Christmas Ape Goes To Summer' Camp is pitching for Cubs, btw.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Bruce again. I'm sorry guys, but something need to be done. Bruce down to .243 with no end in sight to the dropping BA.

Bruce looks like the little league kid you put in RF who has to get one AB a game. If he starts playing with the grass, I'm giving up.

until he desides to totally change his approach, the results will be the same. He only hits mistake pitches and he is only doing that 24% of the time.

I watched the outfielders. Never a doubt that was not going out. This is just horrible. This is what I won't miss for the next 10 days. This team is brutal on offense. Without a superior pitching performance, and even if there is one, they are hapless. Very frustrating.

Lord, how bad does Cairo have to cheat with the bat. Almost swung at 3 pitches well out of the zone just in case a fastball came. Then he gets a curve in and hits it to the wall. Not quite the distance Rexie.

Bruce has been awful. But sit him for who? Heisey? Do any of you really think he's a better option? We have to play Bruce. As bad as he's been, he may break out of it at any time. We don't have anything on our bench that's an answer for Bruce's struggles.

I don't think anybody disagrees with you WV...it's just a question of what CAN they do. He's been slumping for a while now and it's gotten to the point where it's in his head now. When you're in a rut like that, it just takes one thing to break the cycle. It could be something extreme like changing his batting stance or as minimal as changing which shoes he wears. But the one thing you can't do is sit him and let him mull it over. You've got to hit your way out of a slump like that IMO.
