Vitters grounds into a 5-4 FC. 1-0 Cubs after 1.

Good comeback by Bailey. Lets just hope that one run does not hold up this game.

    Good job Homer.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

That was a huge bounceback from Bailey. Soriano and Castro killed us last night. Getting those 2 guys out and only giving up a run is big.

If we score more than 3 runs today, I feel like it would take a miracle. I still like our chances of winning the games. But don't like our chances of scoring much.

There's no reason why they shouldn't be able to score runs against Germano and the Cubs bullpen.
