Alfredo Simon will need to be big today.
"In our sundown perambulations of late, through the outer parts of Brooklyn, we have observed several parties of youngsters playing 'base', a certain game of ball. Let us go forth awhile, and get better air in our lungs. Let us leave our close rooms, the game of ball is glorious"

Wow, only 15 pitches for Bailey that inning. Too bad 10 of them were to the pitcher. Bailey at 76 pitches, possibly 2 more innings at most.

I think Logan needs to be rested today.. We want him fresh for the stretch run.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

With 2 outs Frazier walks and Valdez singles, Frazier to third.

Valdez takes 2nd on a ball in the dirt to Mez.

Mes flies out to right with runners on 2nd and 3rd. Disappointing. I feel like our catchers stats with RISP have got to be pretty bad.

.219, .215, .146, .245 & .231 in a row is probably not going to scare a whole lot of teams. Actually could be worse, I forgot about Cairo & his .154

    Nice 1-2-3 there for Homer.

Stubbs with a two out infield single. That's it for Germano.

lol! Stubbs steals second, and the ball goes past everybody so Stubbs scores.

    6-3 Reds.
