As a manager not so much, but I like him as a color guy. Much better than Steve stone used to be.

76 pitches through 4 so far. Going to have to be really efficient the next couple of innings, assuming they won't let him go much past 100 pitches.

I think he'll make it through the 6th and then he's done.

That brings up a point....if he goes to say 94 pitches thru 5 and then Dusty let's him battle through to 113 pitches after 6....well Latos should be ticked.

We'll see how this plays out....but with a mediocre 5th inning we could have an interesting debate.

He has a 20 plus pitch inning, he's probably done. Simon can pitch the 6th and maybe the 7th depending on the batting order, then the usual end of the game trio can close it out.

Don't know why the Chicago baseball teams can't get decent commentators. Santo was bad, Hawk is bad and the guy who replaced Santo (Moreland) is bad.

Vitale's a total poser. His routine is so stale and forced. It used to be fun but he's just going through the motions and yelling now. Gotten to be as bad as John Madden was.
