    Curse of the Poofy Hair?

    Curse of the Bambino....

    Curse of the Billy Goat....

    Curse of the Poofy Hair????

Pre haircut this team was lighting the world on fire. Post haircut? A win followed by five straight losses.

This thread is somewhat tongue-in-cheek. I fully understand the rollercoaster effect of a baseball season. However, it is something interesting to think about.

Should we take up a collection to buy Marty a poofy wig?

Curses are for losers, this team is a winner.

50 games left, they go .500 and they'll have more wins in a season than 87% of the Reds existance.

Marty has you convinced that he's more important than the players on the field? Just kidding.. but that's what Marty thinks.

This just in: The cure to the curse of the poofy hair is calling out by name. Curse begone!
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

The only solution is to make Marty wear a mullet wig.
