I swear every team the Reds face has better plate discipline than them. Sad

And I was asking if you were Chris Welsh....he constantly drills Soriano.

Two 0-2 gifts from Bronson in that inning. C'mon Bronson hit your spots.

This is Dusty Baker approach...it just is.

Travis Wood likes to get ahead! Duh....if you know it's your pitch go ahead.

    Don't waste at bats.

I mean seriously....Wood isn't a power pitcher and the Cubs bullpen is awful....WORK the pitcher!

Always nice when teams have a hard time beating other teams show up against you. We lost 3 to the Brewers who got swept before us and then lost to Houston after us, and then these guys had lost something like 9 in a row. Someone should let the guys know this Travis Wood gave up 5 jacks against the Cardinals.

One reason why the Reds' offense has struggled this year. Combined stats of Valdez, Cairo, Harris, Costanzo and Navarro in 319 plate appearances. That is not much help off the bench offensively.

    Code:
    BA - .166
    OBP - .197
    SLG - .220
    OPS - .417

Just noticed Jim Wolf is behind the plate....see if he bites us for the 3rd time this year.

Travis Wood is happy he finally gets to face an easy offense to go against

Well....the fact that those 5 have combined for 319 PA is bothersome to me.
