Would be nice if Chris would guess correctly and run into one here.

Way too many auto outs in the lineup.

If fairly well hit fly balls that look good off the bat but are easily playable counted for anything in baseball, this Reds team would be the 27 Yankees.

Hitting fly balls in this game are a waste of time

    .196 August OPS for Valdez.

It really is sad to have 2 of the worst 5 offensive players in the majors on one team....and getting so many at bats.

Have to say the bunt with Arroyo baffled me. Hanigan is very slow, hard to advance him, it's the seventh inning alreaady, go for it.

Welsh said the bullpen is taxed. Not Simon, he hasn't pitched for days. Hit for Arroyo and bring in Simon.

This is one of the more boring MLB games I've ever seen and judging by the amount of posts in this thread, I think I'm not alone.

How is an OPS like that even possible?

Edit: But if anyone can do it, our man Valdez can!

I fell asleep and missed an inning. Well, sort of...I didn't really "miss" anything.

The Reds offense without Votto, Rolen, and Bruce, with the wind blowing in, is enough to put anyone to sleep.

The timing of all these health issues is devastating. I just hope the club can weather this storm and make the playoffs.
